About Jake Spainhower
with over 8 years in business and thousands of returns personally prepared, I am the tax expert who will save you time, money, and stress by taking accounting off your plate.
As a small business owner myself, I understand how much it sucks to pay taxes. I will treat your business as my own when looking for tax strategies that can offer long-term tax savings. I am married to my wife Quincy, who I met in high school and we have two wonderful children. I was born and raised in Utah and don't plan on ever leaving this amazing state. My academic journey led me to earn my Bachelor's Degree from Weber State University, followed by a Master's of Accounting from Southern Utah University, and finally in obtaining my CPA license.
Believe it or not, I have wanted to be an accountant since I was a kid. Numbers have always just made sense to me. I have studied the tax code for thousands of hours and am always looking for new and improved tax strategies to help my clients save on taxes.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in watching sports, especially when cheering for my favorite teams the Jazz, Indianapolis Colts and BYU. Most importantly, I cherish the time spent with my family and love nothing more than hitting the golf course to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.
